Buran

Paper, glue, fishing line
1.8 х 2 х 1.5 m
Every day I ask myself: "What have I done for science?"
and every day I ask myself: "What am I doing with my life?"

One can answer: "Today I spent the whole day taking the integral over the surface" or
"Today I inflated a bag, dipped the scraps of my article drafts in glue, and covered the inflated bag with them."

Is any of this important for science or are both actions equally meaningless? Is any of this important for my life or are both actions equally meaningless?
I don't know.

My grandfather participated in the development of a software package for testing the Buran spacecraft. In my parents' house there is a photo signed as follows: "To our friends and associates with congratulations to Our success of Buran..."
At the same time, my daily scientific work seems to me as meaningful as making papier-mâché from my scientific articles and sculpting grains from them.
I don't know if my activity will yield any harvest.
