Researches show that scent can influence what we see in dreams.
Each period of my life is associated with a specific scent of perfume, whether worn by significant adults or chosen for myself. For this installation, I chose six points in time, six perfumes, and six memories.
For example, I smelled like coconut when I spilled green paint on myself in the schoolyard. The guy I wore that perfume for laughed at me looking from window on the third floor of the school.
By catching the wave, the viewer can experience a dream composed of images from that period and smell the same scent I smelled back then. The visual part of the installation tells a story, but it's the scent that tunes the subconscious to the frequency of the memory.
